Deputy Nursery Manager job summary

Are you passionate about early childhood education and excited by the opportunity to help shape and manage our nursery? We are thrilled to present an incredible opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner with management experience to join our team and help build a brand-new provision for children aged 9 months to 4 years at our school-based nursery.

  • Development of the provision – working with the Early Years Education Lead and Nursery Manager to build and shape planning and curriculum
  • Development of the team – help to induct and train our new nursery team to the highest standards
  • Creating a positive setting- promote and maintain a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children
  • Nursery management – deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence, supervising the team and ensuring regulatory standards are met

Hours: 40 hours per week over 50 weeks of the year. Shifts between 8am and 6pm.
