Working in partnership with the Principal, you will provide strategic leadership across all core areas of school improvement, including:
Teaching and learning
- Ensuring consistently excellent classroom practice
- Leading monitoring, evaluation, coaching, and intervention
- Driving high achievement through evidence‑informed practice
Behaviour, culture and safeguarding
- Sustaining our calm, purposeful, caring environment
- Maintaining rigorous safeguarding and pastoral systems
- Promoting a culture of inclusion, respect, and aspiration
Leadership and staff development
- Line managing staff and leading performance management
- Providing high‑quality coaching, guidance, and challenge
- Supporting whole‑school improvement and strategic planning
Curriculum, assessment and accountability
- Leading curriculum development and assessment strategy
- Ensuring impactful data use and targeted interventions
- Contributing to the academy’s development
Community and external partnerships
- Strengthening relationships with parents and carers
- Working closely with the Oasis Waterloo Hub and wider trust
- Enhancing the academy’s role within the local community
