What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • have experience of successful senior leadership in one or more schools
  • have high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour
  • lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues
  • support the Trust and the Principal in developing strategies to improve educational outcomes for all pupils
  • play an active role in the senior leadership team driving improvement in pupil progress and standards
  • develop & support improvement in teaching & learning
  • be an outstanding leader and practitioner with expert professional knowledge
  • have very effective mentoring & modelling skills
  • have experience of inclusion and supporting vulnerable families
  • have the knowledge and skills to lead on reading
