An exceptional opportunity to lead, inspire, and transform lives.
Are you a passionate and dynamic leader ready to make a lasting impact? The Brook Academy, part of the Cabot Learning Federation, is seeking a Deputy Principal to help shape the future of our specialist SEMH provision for students aged 11–16 in Gloucester.
Our academy is dedicated to supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs as their primary challenge, alongside speech, language and communication needs. We are proud to deliver consistently excellent educational experiences that improve life chances and serve our community.
Guided by our core values of equity, resilience, and togetherness, we foster a reflective and inclusive culture where every child is empowered to thrive. As Deputy Principal, you will play a pivotal role in leading a happy school filled with wonderful students and staff, collaborating with senior leaders across specialist and alternative provisions to ensure children with EHCPs remain actively engaged in learning and achieve strong educational outcomes.
With outstanding facilities, including a mechanics workshop, hair and beauty salon, music studio, and creative arts spaces, our students benefit from both academic and vocational opportunities that mirror those in mainstream settings, while receiving the tailored support they need.
This is your chance to join a committed team where every staff member is proud to support students in developing a sense of self, place, and community. If you’re inspired by our vision and ready to lead with purpose, we would be delighted to welcome you.
Full role information and requirements, including the job description and person specification, can be found in the attached candidate information pack.
