Deputy Principal job summary

The Boulevard Centre is an alternative provision for secondary pupils who are unable to access mainstream education. We work in partnership with mainstream schools and local authorities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Support the Principal, Governors and staff in the delivery of our offer for all students.
  • Support the Principal in the day to day running of all settings.
  • Support the Principal and often lead on maintaining high standards in all three settings.
  • Motivate, lead and support the team.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Trust.
  • Deputise for the Principal in their absence .

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Hold as a minimum; QTS, Degree level qualification, evidence of recent and relevant professional development.
  • Motivation to work with complex students.
  • Have an innovative, creative and determined approach to help students reach their potential.
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning and the professional development of staff.
  • Have high expectations that motivate, support and challenge teachers and students alike.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
