Deputy SENCO & Teacher of English job summary

Required for September 2024, Stopsley High School is looking to recruit a highly ambitious, knowledgeable and Deputy SENCO and Teacher of English.

This is an excellent opportunity for an English specialist, either from a Primary or Secondary School teaching background to embrace the opportunity that a leadership role brings. The successful candidate will join our English Department and SEN Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of English to join our large, vibrant and forward looking English team. Our SEND Team is an extremely hardworking team, led by a dynamic and experienced SENCO. The team share a passion for adaptive teaching and ensuring the delivery of an excellent academic experience for students with SEND.

Stopsley High School has been on a rapid improvement journey which included academising in September 2021 and joining the Middlesex Learning Trust. The School has benefitted from collaborative networking across the three schools, opportunities to showcase best practice and access to innovative training opportunities. All of this hard work culminated in an incredibly positive Ofsted in September 2022, in which the school was graded as “Good” in all five areas.
