The Role
An opportunity has arisen at Clacton County High School for the role of Deputy SENDCo working with an excellent group of colleagues within our Inclusion team and across the school. This post may suit someone currently working in either the primary or secondary sector.
This role brings an opportunity to work alongside a supportive and passionate SENDCo to fulfil the school’s statutory obligations for students with SEND providing invaluable experience to further an individual’s knowledge of SEND in a secondary school setting. We welcome applications from those who have already achieved the NA (SENDCo) and those who would be willing to enrol on this qualification as part of the role.
As a school, we are determined never to stand still and as a result of this commitment, we are seeking an enthusiastic member of staff with either primary or secondary teaching experience. We recognise that candidates with primary teaching experience may also be able to offer additional expertise to support those students working significantly below age related expectations.
We are seeking a motivated person to work alongside colleagues both teaching and non-teaching, to be a role model for all our students, but with a particular focus on supporting those who require assistance in overcoming any barriers to learning, so they are able to access the full curriculum in order to achieve their potential.
