Working pattern

Full time: 37 hours per week, full time all year round. Core hours 8am - 4pm A flexible approach to working hours is required in accordance with operational requirements.

Pay scale

NJC pay scale, points 16-20 (£30,518- £32,597) per annul.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Experience of team line management

Good IT / numeracy / literacy skills / GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English

Full UK valid driving licence and use of suitable vehicle for travelling between multiple siteswithin the hub.

IOSH or NEBOSH qualification or ability to attain

NVQ 3 or 4 OR equivalent qualification

Caretaking/Site Management experience in a school or similar environment

Working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation

Experience of H&S compliance practices and Safe Systems of Working

Specific training in specialist area – Legionella, Asbestos, Fire Safety, etc.

Relevant trade experience – plumbing, building, electrical etc

Knowledge of moving and handling procedures

Willingness to participate in development and training opportunities

A First Aid certificate, or willingness to train as a first aider, Fire Warden training, or

willingness to train as a lead Fire Warden
