Design Technology Teacher job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly skilled Teacher of Design and Technology. We would welcome applications from candidates with any area of expertise, but would be especially interested to hear from teachers of Graphics or Product Design. Design and Technology is taught as part of the Applied Learning and Technology faculty where we offer a range of vocational and academic courses at Level 2 and equivalent. Our vocational subjects are popular with students at KS4 and we are now keen to expand the subjects we offer at KS4. The faculty is well resourced and we have excellent facilities and experienced technical support. The faculty is forward thinking, friendly and supportive, they are passionate about the importance of a broad curriculum that meets the needs of our students. The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to raising whole-school achievement; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; excellent teaching and learning standards and a determination to excel in what they do.
