Are you a practical, enthusiastic, and safety-conscious individual looking to support creative learning? We are seeking a committed Design & Technology Technician to join the dedicated team at The Romsey School.

You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, supporting teachers with lesson preparation, and ensuring students have access to well-maintained tools and resources. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in students' educational experience, particularly in hands-on subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, organised, and clean working environment across workshops and prep areas
  • Prepare materials and resources for lessons, supporting curriculum delivery
  • Support teaching staff in practical classes and help develop new activities
  • Maintain, organise, and monitor tools, materials, and equipment inventory
  • Conduct routine safety checks, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations

Training will be provided for the right candidate - enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential.
