Design & Technology Technician job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Design & Technology Technician, primarily to support our woodwork lessons, helping to facilitate high-quality teaching within a friendly, successful, and well-resourced Technology Department.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking and flexible, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- To support DT; RMT and Product Design lessons.
- Maintaining and managing stocks and components of timber, polymers and metal materials. Ordering and maintaining machinery and equipment in the workshops.
- Experience in cutting timbers and using machines in the workshops.
- Desirable experience; Using CAD/CAM processes, laser cutter and 3D printers.
