WORKING HOURS: 08.00 TO 16.00, MONDAY TO THURSDAY, 08.00 TO 15.30 FRIDAY
BAND C, POINT 1 TO 4, £23,893 TO £25,545 FTE (£20,986.51 TO £22,437.55 PRO RATA)

Under the instruction/guidance of senior staff: provide general support in a specific curricula/resource area, including preparation and maintenance of resources and support to staff and pupils.
We seek a conscientious, adaptable technician to support the Design Technology Curriculum, providing assistance and information as required in the preparation of resources for practical lessons that meet both health & safety standards and the requirements of the classes involved. Duties include providing general assistance in the safe storage, transit and accessibility of resources, including helping to ensure that stock levels are maintained and future requirements are identified. This is a busy and varied role and candidates must have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
- Use specialist skills, training and experience to support pupils in practical learning activities under the guidance of the teacher.
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and proactive working environment which is also healthy and safe, and to report all health and safety concerns to the appropriate person in accordance with school policy
- Monitor and manage stock and supplies for the specific curriculum area, within an agreed budget, cataloguing resources and carrying out audits as required; obtaining resources as required in accordance with Financial Standing Orders.
