Designated Specialist Provision Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly committed leader with a passion for working with students with SEND.

The successful applicant will lead the high-quality provision within our new DSP unit, designing and delivering lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEND students with EHCP’s. As unit lead, the successful applicant will collaborate closely with the SEND team to manage the needs and provisions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related Emotionally Based School Avoidance. Additionally, the leader will hold strong relationships with students, parents and staff members in the unit. They will monitor and assess student progress and model a passion for learning and nurturing confidence in every student.

They will provide clear guidance for staff on the implementation of quality first teaching strategies to raise achievement for students with SEND, as well as establish and manage bespoke interventions to support the academic, social, and emotional progress of identified students. They will also manage our dedicated and experienced team of learning support staff.
