Director of Education job summary

• The role of Director of Education is a lead professional and a significant role model within the wide sphere of influence of our Trust, Excelsior Multi Academy Trust.
• As Director of Education, you will be responsible for prioritising support and challenge to each Headteacher across all aspects of their work, focusing on creating a culture of constant school improvement as aspirational leaders.
• We are particularly interested in candidates that are either a serving Ofsted Inspector or HMI (His Majesty’s Inspector), as the role includes the leadership of Monitoring and Evaluation across the Trust.

• As Director of Education, you will have the line management responsibility for Headteachers and work closely with all the Regional Governing Bodies (RGBs).
