What skills and experience we're looking for

This an exciting opportunity for an excellent leader with a passion for education and its continued improvement. The role will work locally and regionally with a remit to influence and shape education nationally. Knowledge of Norfolk and the Norwich area would be helpful. Following growth in the number of primary schools in the Trust, we are looking for a Director of Education to join the Executive Director of Education (Primary) and a team of three Directors of Education (Primary) to lead primary school improvement across the 21 primary schools, as well as contribute and influence all areas of the Trust’s operations.

We are inviting candidates with extensive educational leadership experience and a knowledge and understanding of creating and maintaining outstanding primary practice to apply for the role. You will have a background as a Primary Headteacher and are likely to have been in a leadership role in an existing Multi Academy Trust. The role will take a key part in setting the strategy for the Trust and its daily operations, working very closely with the CEO and executive colleagues. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of primary education and strive for excellence at a time when the landscape is changing dramatically and when the primary schools are pushing forward with our CUSP curriculum driven through our &iLearn 1:1 iPad approach. An innovative and creative approach is key as well as the ability to influence and build relationships.
