The department benefits from seven full-sized classrooms, complemented by seminar rooms for smaller group work. Each teaching space is well-equipped with PCs, projectors, and visualisers. Our shared workroom serves as a hub for the team, a place to connect during breaks and cultivate an exceptionally supportive and friendly atmosphere.
You'll find that all members of the team actively participate in research-led development projects, collaboratively striving to enhance their practice. Our culture of openly sharing ideas and teaching strategies fosters innovative and dynamic lessons across all year groups.
Subsequently, all students pursue both the Eduqas English Language and AQA English Literature GCSE courses in Years 10 and 11.
By joining us, you will become an integral part of a highly motivated, ambitious, and teamwork-driven organisation, where your passion for English and your leadership will directly shape the futures of our students.
