What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the relocation of the current post holder we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed leader for our Maths Department, who shares the school’s values; engaging, empowering and encouraging students to fulfil their fullest potential.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is passionate about Maths and a consistently good or outstanding subject teacher with experience of line management and/or leading on departmental projects or priorities;
- Is enthusiastic and able to demonstrate innovative and creative teaching practices, and the sharing of these with colleagues;
- Can work collaboratively as well as use personal initiative;
- Be eager to inspire and motivate students to exceed expectations;
- Has high aspirations for all students is passionate about learning and can contribute new and creative ideas to subject areas;
- Have a proven track record of achievement.
