Director of PE / Creative Arts job summary
We are currently seeking an imaginative, creative, and proactive leader in this role to take our PE/Creative Arts faculty to the next stage of its development. It is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to join us on our incredible journey at Dame Elizabeth Cadbury School. Pupil behaviour, attitudes to learning and the quality of teaching and learning is very good. Our PE/Creative faculty is fantastically well resourced and will continue to go from strength to strength.
Applicants will be able to lead the faculty and teacher their specialism across all key stages up to A level. Applications are welcome from experienced leaders and well-qualified ambitious teachers with leadership skills looking to take their next step in professional development.
We are looking for a talented teacher who has the passion to lead a PE/Creative Arts team. Could it be you? You must be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom.
- In depth subject knowledge of subject specialism.
- A passion to make a difference in pupils’ lives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, lead and support pupils and colleagues.
- A commitment to school improvement.
- An ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Has a proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom.
- Understanding of both GCSE, A Level and vocational course structure is essential.
