We have an exciting leadership opportunity at The Stockwood Park Academy, Director of Science you will be joining a large, flourishing and thriving Science Faculty. This role will suit an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of improving outcomes within a Science Department. You will work closely with subject leaders in Science to drive up attainment and progress. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be able to collaborate with colleagues, flexibility and enjoy working as part of a team. You will build on existing good practice, strengthen partnerships, and ensure our academy is well supported to deliver an excellent education to all students.

The successful candidate will
· A Teacher of your own specialism teaching KS3 KS4 and KS5.
· Ability to teach all science subjects at KS3 and KS4.
· To support other Leaders within the school.
· To have responsibility for planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
· To ensure student achievement is at least in line with expectations.
· To be accountable for progress and achievement of students.
· To implement school policies and procedures as appropriate in day-to-day activities.
