Domestic Services Assistant job summary

DOMESTIC SERVICES ASSISTANT

30 hours per week, term time plus 6 weeks working during school holidays

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic cleaner to join our friendly team in our main school and grounds. You will play a key role in helping to keep the environment clean, tidy and welcoming to the highest possible standards.

Working as part of a small, supportive team, you’ll bring some previous cleaning experience, although this isn’t essential as full training will be provided. What matters most is a positive attitude, attention to detail and a genuine pride in delivering excellent cleaning standards.

Pocklington is a thriving co-educational independent day and boarding school twelve miles east of York with circa 700 pupils aged from 0 - 18. With over 500 years of history you can expect a family-centred community with a kind and supportive team.

Hours of work: 30 hours per week,Monday - Friday 4.30am to 10.45am, working during term time plus an additional 6 weeks working during school holidays (we can be flexible with start time, please discuss this with us)
