Our Opportunity
Filey School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Drama and Music to join our department in September 2025 on a full time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate our ambitious and hardworking pupils.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning.
Teaching GCSE Drama and Music
- Understanding and applying effective classroom management.
- Understanding and applying a range of teaching strategies.
- Positively targeting and supporting individual learning needs.
- To undertake professional duties as delegated by the Assistant Head / Deputy Head and the Headteacher of the School.
To implement the aims and objectives of the school/trust and to understand and work within school/ trust policies to achieve these aims and objectives.
