Drama Teacher job summary

Are you an inspirational teacher who believes in the potential of all students?

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Drama Teacher, well-qualified to teach Drama at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. We are looking for a teacher who will share our vision for the development of Drama and appreciate the impact that the subject can have on learning across the school. Our Drama Department is thriving and is a popular option at GCSE and A Level. There is also a dynamic and active extra-curricular timetable in place and you must be willing to take part in this. A TLR allowance is available for an exceptional candidate or someone with suitable experience looking to take on additional leadership responsibility.

  • A forward thinking individual who is capable of inspiring students through their passion for Drama
  • Ability to teach a second subject – please specify on application form
  • A successful teacher who is committed to attaining the highest standards in teaching and learning and brings out the best in every student
  • An individual who can turn ideas and opportunities into success

  • The ability to offer a second subject would be an advantage
