New College Durham Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a Driver/Site Assistant to join our existing site team at North Durham Academy.
We're seeking candidates who are responsible, safety-conscious, and possess basic maintenance knowledge. A clean driving licence and strong communication skills are essential.
In this role, your key responsibilities include maintaining our buildings and grounds, ensuring they are safe and clean. You'll also be responsible for safely transporting students to and from Trust sites using the school minibus. Additionally, you'll assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as facility setup, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
This key role has many aspects but will include the following:
Site security and safety
Locking and unlocking
General repairs and maintenance
Health and Safety
Grounds maintenance
Driving of school mini bus
