What skills and experience we're looking for
This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is skilled in and passionate about Design Technology to combine practical and technical expertise with in-class support for pupils. The role is twofold and comprises working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) across the Design Technology curriculum and providing technical support for the DT Department including organising and running the Prep Room.
The successful applicant will join a friendly, experienced and professional team who deliver a rich educational programme including resistant materials, textiles, engineering and graphics. The postholder will ensure efficient and effective technical support for activities, maintain and manage all related equipment, machinery and materials and support learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.
