Our Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to support the work of the Department.

You will play a vital role in keeping the Department running smoothly, enabling a safe and well-equipped environment for practical work to support the teaching and advice to staff and students.

You will:

  • Give basic technical advice to teachers, technicians and students.
  • Offer professional guidance, assistance and support to teachers on the practical aspects of the curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with all children, young people, families and carers.
  • Know that communication is a two-way process.
  • Remember and understand the procedures and legislation that applies to the role.
