DT Technician job summary

DT Technician Contract: Permanent, Part time, term time only.

Hours: 12 hours per week ( 3 hours per day over 4 days, can be flexible).  

Location: Filey School

Salary: Grade CD2 SCP4-6 £23,114 - £23,893 pro rata per annum. Actual £6,498 - £6,717

Our Opportunity

We have an
exciting role available for an enthusiastic and committed individual to work as
a DT Technician to
support the work of the Technology Department at Filey school.

A practical approach and an enthusiasm to learn some new
skills is important as we will provide the appropriate training to ensure that
you develop the skills for the role.

You will play
a vital role in keeping the Department running smoothly, enabling a safe and
well-equipped environment for practical work and to support the teaching to students.

Full
training will be provided.

You will:

• Help prepare equipment, materials,
  and resources ready for lessons.
• Work closely with the staff and
  students, providing practical support.
• Support in the ordering of
  supplies and maintenance of relevant equipment.
• Ensure that the equipment and working
  areas are kept clean and tidy after lessons.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
