ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our team at Trinity Academy until August 2025, with the potential to become permanent. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and resilient educator to support students in developing their English language skills and unlocking their full academic potential.
As a Teacher of EAL, you will play a key role in ensuring that students with English as an Additional Language can access the curriculum and thrive in their education. You will work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver targeted interventions, provide high-quality teaching, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
· A strong academic record, ideally with a 2:1 degree or above in a relevant subject from a leading university
· Experience in supporting students with English as an Additional Language
· A deep understanding of language acquisition and strategies to support learners at different proficiency levels
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· The enthusiasm and energy to inspire and engage students
· A commitment to inclusivity and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
· An unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives, in line with our trust’s motto, libertas per cultum (freedom through education)
· Candidates demonstrating leadership potential and a commitment to advancing the school’s mission may be considered for additional responsibilities within the Academy.
