Early Bears Playworker job summary

About this Role:

Alderman Jacobs Primary School are looking to appoint an Early Bears Playworker to join our friendly team to assist in the running of our before school club. Within the role you will participate in the planning and implementation of the daily activities of the club, escorting of children from one area of school to another as well as preparing light meals (breakfast, snacks, refreshments etc).

Working pattern is 5 hours per week, 07.45am - 08.45am Monday to Friday

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with children and ideally has experience of working with children aged 4-11 years

Has a good standard of general education.

Has experience of childcare/education related work

Has a basic understanding of food hygiene and willingness to undertake basic qualifications

Has an understanding of safeguarding

Is able to communicate well with a wide range of groups and individuals

Is a team player whilst also able to work on their own initiative
