Early Career Teacher job summary

Earlham Primary is recruiting for a full time class teacher (ECT or ECT+1) to start in September 2025.

The role is suitable for candidates who are at the start of their careers.

Salary (depending on ECT / ECT+1):

Based on the agreed National Inner London Pay Scales for ECTs / ECT+1s

Closing date for application forms: 12pm - 11th June 2025

Shortlisting: 1pm - 3:30pm on 11th June 2025

Candidates will be informed by 4pm on the 11th June 2025 if they have been invited for an interview.

Interview dates: Tuesday, 17th June 2025, Wednesday, 18th June 2025 and Thursday 19th June 2025.

Visiting the school:

Successful candidates will be expected to:

  • teach a 30 minute English / Maths lesson (either year 2, 3 or 4 - candidates will be informed ahead of time which year group)

  • take part in a 45 min interview
