What skills and experience we're looking for

Experience of working with children, young people and their families

Experience of undertaking and leading family assessments and coordinating services to meet identified need

Experience of working within an education setting

Experience of creating and or coordinating multiple agency responses eg early help assessment

Grade C equivalent in Maths and English

Up to date training in Safeguarding procedures

A level 3 qualification relevant to the field of working with children and or families

Demonstrate knowledge of relevant national legislation

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures and how/when to implement

Excellent communication and time-management and administrative skills

A willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, families and external agencies

Knowledge of the services available to support families through the local offer

Knowledge of the education system and the everyday function of a school

Knowledge of key government policies eg ‘Working Together to Improve Attendance’

Knowledge of the Early Help Assessment Framework and process.

Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities
