Early Years and KS1 Lead job summary

St Joseph’s achieve results in the top 1% nationally and is rated by Ofsted as a good school with children who are enthusiastic and willing to learn. We are a smaller than average Primary Academy and cater for children in the 4-11 age range. We have an Early Year’s Unit, 1 KS1 class and 3 KS2 classes. Some of the classes are mixed age groups.

We require a teacher who is:

  • Willing to participate in and promote the faith life of the school.
  • Passionate about and committed to creating a stimulating and exciting Early Years environment rooted in the most recent educational research.
  • Able to deliver Quality First Teaching and lead others in their practice.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable and committed to achieving high standards in all areas.
  • Able to work in partnership with colleagues and make a positive contribution to the wider school tea

The appointment will be conditional upon enhanced checks of police records via DBS.
