Early Years Apprentice job summary
We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with young children under 5 years. Has the ability to relate and interact with children and most importantly should be enthusiastic and caring.
Key duties within this role include:
- plan activities for and with the children;
- organise play areas, materials and equipment;
- encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children;
- encourage independence and self-esteem;
- talk to children about their concerns or worries;
- deal with injuries and emergencies;
- liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals.

Training:
- working towards a Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship over 12 months.

- provide a stimulating but safe environment;
- work with integrity and enthusiasm;
- be aware of health and safety issues.
