Early Years Assistant (Apprentice) job summary

Rothesay Nursery School is looking to appoint an Apprentice Early Years Assistant to join our hardworking team. You will have the support of experienced staff whilst you complete your qualification, as well as gaining valuable experience of working in a nursery setting.

Training to be provided by Luton Adult Learning, leading to Early Years Practitioner Standard (Level 2) with preparation for end point assessment.

Candidates should hold a Functional Skills L2, GCSE grades C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent.

Hours of work are 8.00am to 4.00pm - Monday to Friday (4.45pm on Monday for staff meeting). Each Wednesday is a training day with Luton Adult Learning.

The nursery is committed to safeguarding our children. All posts are subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
