What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of teaching within EYFS and/or KS1

  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and EYFS Framework

  • Experience of planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Experience of using assessment effectively to support pupil progress

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils

  • Experience of supporting children with SEND and adapting provision accordingly

  • Commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all children

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of the school

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and carers

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Willingness to lead or contribute to a curriculum area would be desirable
