What skills and experience we're looking for
As EYFS Leader, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-quality, engaging and ambitious Early Years curriculum
- Model outstanding classroom practice and champion excellence in teaching and learning
- Drive continuous improvement through effective use of assessment and data
- Play an active role within the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school priorities
- Support and lead on safeguarding, data management, and curriculum development initiatives
- Inspire and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development
- Ensure all children make strong progress and achieve their full potential
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a proven track record of effective teaching in Early Years
- Demonstrates strong pedagogical expertise and a deep understanding of EYFS principles
- Has leadership experience or clear potential to lead a key stage effectively
- Is highly reflective, driven and committed to continual improvement
- Can use data effectively to inform teaching and raise standards
- Is passionate about inclusive practice and supporting every child to succeed
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Thrives as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team
