What skills and experience we're looking for

As EYFS Leader, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-quality, engaging and ambitious Early Years curriculum
  • Model outstanding classroom practice and champion excellence in teaching and learning
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective use of assessment and data
  • Play an active role within the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school priorities
  • Support and lead on safeguarding, data management, and curriculum development initiatives
  • Inspire and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development
  • Ensure all children make strong progress and achieve their full potential

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a proven track record of effective teaching in Early Years
  • Demonstrates strong pedagogical expertise and a deep understanding of EYFS principles
  • Has leadership experience or clear potential to lead a key stage effectively
  • Is highly reflective, driven and committed to continual improvement
  • Can use data effectively to inform teaching and raise standards
  • Is passionate about inclusive practice and supporting every child to succeed
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Thrives as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team
