The Coombes CE Primary School is seeking anexperienced EYFS Lead or exceptional EYFS teacherwith a genuine passion for early years education to lead our thriving Early Years provision, including two Reception classes and our popular Nursery for two- and three-year-old children.

Following a recent full refurbishment of our classrooms and the development of our beautiful outdoor learning environment, this is a unique opportunity to shape and lead an inspiring EYFS setting. We are looking for a skilled practitioner who is ready to create an exceptional start to school life for our youngest learners.

You will lead a dedicated, caring and highly committed EYFS team, ensuring the highest quality provision within our stunning natural setting. As a key member of theSenior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and driving continuous improvement across Early Years.

This is a role with real influence. You will be trusted to lead, innovate and develop practice, ensuring that every child receives an engaging, nurturing and ambitious start to their education.

The successful candidate will:

An existing EYFS lead or experienced EYFS teacher

Be an outstanding practitioner and have the ability to lead and motivate

Have high expectations for standards of achievement and behaviour

Have vision and the ability to contribute to the leadership of our school

Be able to work collaboratively to support and motivate others

Experienced with early reading, phonics and vocabulary development

Knowledgeable regarding evidence based approaches to early education e.g SHReC approach

Have the drive and energy to enthuse and inspire pupils

Promote our Christian ethos
