Job summary

The successful candidate will:
• Be an accomplished, highly motivated, committed and passionate early years practitioner
• Have an ability and commitment to engage, motivate and inspire all children to learn, achieve and make good progress
• Have a real belief in inclusivity and the fact that all children can be supported to be successful
• Have an excellent general knowledge and understanding of the Early Years and Foundation Stage Framework
• Have an excellent working knowledge of key Early Years transitions from Nursery through to Year 1
• Have a commitment to high standards of learning and development across all areas of the profile
• Have flexibility, resilience, adaptability and commitment to work as part of a team
• Be a great communicator with good interpersonal skills who can also actively engage with parents
• Be passionate about education in a school deeply rooted in the local community
• Have, or be prepared to work towards, a Lead Practitioner accreditation
