MONDAY TO FRIDAY, TERM TIME (39 WEEKS)
St Bees Village Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated Learning Support Assistant’s to join the team. This is a key role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for staff, students and visitors.
We are looking for a well-organised, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. You will work to promote effective participation, enhance learning, and raise aspirations to help all children achieve their full potential. You will also play a key role in supporting teaching colleagues.
The successful candidate will have:
A relevant EYFS Level 3 qualification
Appropriate Level 2 in both English and Maths at a grade C or above.
Up to date knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures within education relating to the welfare, safety and education of pupils.
An understanding of principles of child development and learning processes.
Experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a school or private nursery setting.
Experience of working flexibly as part of a team
