Nursery Nurse (NVQ Level 3)

33.75 hours per week (8.15am - 3.30pm)
39 weeks per year (including INSET days)
Salary Grade NJC Scale - E1-E4 (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Nursery Nurse to join our wonderful Nursery Team. At Kents Hill we truly value the Early Years and the integral part they play in starting a child's educational journey. We are looking for someone that shares this ethos and has a genuine passion for Early Years education. The role will include:
- Providing a welcoming and stimulating learning environment to enable children to learn through play and grow in confidence
- Taking up the role of a 'key person'. This will include observing, monitoring and evaluating all aspects of the children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in order that every child will fulfil their potential
- Ensuring that appropriate standards of safety and security are maintained at all times to safeguard the welfare of our children.
- Collaboration with parents to be partners in their child’s development by working together and having a positive impact on the children’s learning
The successful candidate must hold an NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
