What skills and experience we're looking for
About You
We are looking for an Early Years Worker to join our EYFS team. Your role will be to support the learning, playing and development of children in our Early Years setting through purposeful play, planning and assessment. You will join a dedicated team and be supported by a highly skilled and passionate EYFS Leader, Headteacher, SENCo and welfare team. You will need to have strong communication and team-work skills and work in partnership with colleagues and parents.
You must be passionate about providing outstanding EYFS provision which caters for the developmental, educational and pastoral needs of all children. You must have a knowledge of the EYFS framework and up to date EYFS knowledge.
You will align to the values of our school and embrace the ethos at Pegasus Primary. In joining our teaching team, you will be part of a passionate, committed team dedicated to making a difference to our school community.

About the Role
In the role of Early Years Worker, you will need to:
- Provide children with a safe, stimulating and positive environment and relationship;
- Be a role-model for high standards of communication, interaction, play and behaviour;
- Work well within a team, taking direction from the Room Leader and EYFS Lead;
- Be committed to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding;
- Take responsibility for a key group; • Plan and prepare group times, planning and tracking;
- Work together with the Room Leader, EYFS Lead, Headteacher and SENCo;
- Take pride in your role, environment, team and setting.
