Early Years Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and highly skilled Early Years Teacher to join our nursery, supporting the learning and development of our three-year-old children.

This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner with QTS, EYTS or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification to play a key role in shaping children’s earliest experiences of education.

About the role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYFS
  • Support the progress and development of all children through careful observation and assessment
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Contribute positively to the wider Early Years provision and school community
We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds QTS, EYTS or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Has high expectations for all children and a strong understanding of early development
  • Inspires curiosity, confidence and a love of learning
  • Is passionate about inclusive, high-quality early years education
  • Is reflective, motivated and committed to continually developing their practice
  • Values teamwork and thrives within a supportive and forward-thinking Trust
