Early Years Teacher Vacancy job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and committed Early Years teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent practitioner who is passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of our youngest learners.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS and a relevant degree, with a secure understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and statutory assessments.
  • Demonstrate proven ability as an outstanding teacher, with experience of working in Early Years settings and delivering high-quality provision.
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and age-related expectations, ensuring that every child is supported to thrive.
  • Show high expectations for all pupils and the ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and foster independence.
  • Possess strong knowledge of formative assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform next steps in learning.
  • Understand the needs of all learners, including the most able and those with SEND, and foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider community.
  • Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a thorough commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Be flexible, resilient, and committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute fully to the life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and educational visits, supporting an enriched curriculum beyond the classroom.
