The successful candidate will:

  • Work independently and with others to support the academic, social and emotional development of individuals and groups of pupils understanding clearly how they learn.
  • Provide effective support to maximise the attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals, and groups, of pupils.
  • Motivate and engage children so they are excited and enthused about learning.
  • Have effective communication skills when liaising with staff, parents, carers and other agencies.
  • Have the passion and drive to develop their professional career and gain relevant experience and training, where appropriate.
  • Use their initiative, be flexible and ensure children are safe, successful and happy.

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will:
• Work within a specialist provision to support children with complex communication

• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that encourages pupils to
develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure
every child receives the support they need to thrive.
