Early Years Teaching Assistant job summary

Term time only + 5 TED days

Monday - Friday 8.45 - 3.15pm

30hours per week

Teaching Assistant Salary Scale Grade 1 (SCP 2-4)

We are a friendly school with approximately 205 pupils aged between 3 and 11 years. The school fosters close links with parents and the local community. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating, and supportive climate in order for our children to achieve their maximum potential. To achieve this, we provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site.

The ideal candidate will be a practitioner with effective communication skills, who is able to help develop social and communication skills and support children’s learning through their play. We pride ourselves on our evidence based Early Years provision and we are looking for the right person to join our Carnforth community. We are small, established team, and would welcome candidates with a good sense of humour, strong communication skills, innovative and organised.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
