About Us

East Lane Primary School, opened in April 2017, and judged ‘Outstanding’ in every category in its first Ofsted inspection in November 2019. Housed in a purpose-built £16 million building with exceptional resources, it is located adjacent to Wembley High, providing our children with an ‘all-through’ experience of outstanding schools. As a 3 form-entry school, our results for Early Years, Phonics, KS1 and KS2 have been amongst the highest in Brent and significantly above the national averages. As a school, we aim to continue our exceptional success.

Why Join Us?

All teachers at East Lane Primary School receive a comprehensive, structured training programme, delivered by highly trained mentors and bespoke to the individual’s needs. As part of the WMAT we also have the Teaching School Hub for Brent, Barnet and Enfield which is based at WHTC. Our curricular structure is different to many other primary schools; the school is based around subjects with specialist teachers providing expert subject knowledge to ensure pupils’ progress is exceptional. In Key Stage 1 and 2 our staff tend to mainly teach their specialist subjects and we believe this allows our pupils to greatly deepen their knowledge and understanding of key areas and this fully prepares them for their transition to secondary school.
