Early Years Teaching Assistant Job Start Date: September 2022 Contract: Temporary Hours of Work: 30hrs 08.30am – 3.00pm, Term time only Salary Details: Grade 4 Point 4-5, actual salary £13,009 – £13,269 We have a vacancy, for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive early years team. The role will be mainly working in our Reception class and working with SEND pupils. There may be some time spent in Nursery when needed, and you will be required to supervise lunchtimes. There will also be occasions when you will be required to attend meetings or training after school. Thameside School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post involves the type of work with children and young people that requires applicants to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. Interviews will be held on receipt of sufficient applications; the closing date is Friday 1st July. We regret that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
