Early Years Teaching Assistant job summary

What is the job role?

We have the following vacancy for a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in our Nursery to start as soon as possible.

We are looking to appoint someone who will share our vision for high-quality education for all our children and also show enthusiasm and motivation.

You will work under the direct instruction of teaching staff providing learning support for the pupils and assisting in the management of the classroom.  Planning and leading intervention work to provide 1-2-1 support or in small groups outside the main teaching area. 

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is needed for this post. Two references will be taken up for all short-listed candidates prior to the interview or appointment.
