• Is able to deliver high quality learning across the Primary curriculum that engage the children
• Has experience of planning for mixed age classes in KS2, preferably in Y5/6
• Understands how quality first teaching enables children to make good progress
• Commits to children's learning, improving their own learning and that of others
• Understands how to inspire, motivate and enthuse children to learn
• Can communicate well with children and colleagues and establish excellent relationships
• Commits to team work with a proactive approach
• Is caring, understanding and patient and has excellent behaviour management skills
• Is able to adapt quickly to the variable needs of a busy school
• Is well organised, efficient and professional
• Is an aspirational, reflective and empathetic practitioner
• Is receptive to new ideas and approaches
• Is committed to offering an extra- curricular club
• Awareness of recent educational developments
