Youwillberesponsibleforthesuccessofthe academies in your region, ensuringeverychildineveryschool gets a chance to thrive. You will lead a team of principals, providingthe advice, guidance and challenge required toensurethatevery school in you region isagreatplaceforpupilsto learn,andwherestaffenjoyfulfillingcareers. You will be highly visible within your region, with the autonomy and flexibility to manage your own movements.

Naturally, you will be a successful leader with a proven track record of sustained school improvement. As amemberoftheseniorleadershipteam, youwillplayakeyrolewithinOAT,contributingto the development of our strategy and culture and role modelling our ethos of ‘Achieving More Together.Youwillplayanimportantleadershiprole–demonstratingtheabilitytoleadandwork successfullyacrossyour region, while collaborating closely with fellow education directors across the OAT network, providing wider support as necessary.

You will have a significant and credible track record as a secondary headteacher.Youwillbealignedwiththepurpose,ethosandvaluesofthetrustand have the maturity to lead a team, whilst working well across other teams to get things done.

Ultimately,youwillshareourbeliefinthepowerofeducationtochangelivesforyoungpeople,andhavethe intellectual, interpersonal and operational capabilities required every day to improve education across multiple sites.
