Education Support Workers (Primary Unit) job summary

As an Education Support Worker in our Primary Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of pupils aged 5–11 within a nurturing and inclusive environment. Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher/SENCO and wider staff team, you will help deliver tailored educational support to pupils with a range of needs, including those who may be vulnerable or require additional guidance.

This is a full-time, term-time only position (36 hours per week), ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. You will be based at The Helix Education Centre, a dynamic Pupil Referral Unit that includes a Hospital Education Service, Home Tuition Provision, and Outreach Inclusion Support Team.
